History

Central Sales Enterprises traces its beginnings back to 1929 when Peter and Lou Wick started an electrical and bicycle parts company in Milwaukee. Over the ensuing years Manny, Lou’s son, along with his partner, Ray Brill, expanded the company’s offerings to become one of the largest sporting goods distributors in the Midwest. Ray brought over 20 years of senior sporting goods experience to the company. In addition, Ray is a superlative sportsman who has held over 25 world records in fresh and saltwater fishing.

In 1988 Manny and Ray made the decision to refocus their efforts on fishing equipment with an emphasis on closeout, overstock and discontinued items. Today the company continues to operate out of Milwaukee and is managed by Ryan Dolan. Manny and Ray continue their involvement in the business.

Our Business Model

Central Sales Enterprises is a wholesale distributor of fishing and outdoor equipment serving all 50 states and several foreign countries. We purchase closeout and overstock fishing and outdoor products from name brand manufacturers and pass the savings along to our customers.

Our value proposition is based on 2 simple principles:

We typically stock well over 1000 items. Please keep in mind that as a consequence of being in the closeout and overstock business our inventory changes frequently based on sales and what is available. This means that all items are offered on a limited availability basis. Please visit our site often and subscribe to our email updates.
